Cool Sys is seeking a Commercial Journeyman Refrigeration technician to install, service, and maintain commercial refrigeration and HVAC-R systems for retail and commercial customers. In this field-based skilled labor role, you'll perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on racks, cases, and controls, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation. You'll work hands-on in a safety-first, customer-focused culture with strong teamwork and technical training, supporting energy-efficient solutions and long-term system performance across diverse sites.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC-R systems for retail and commercial customers
- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and system optimization for energy efficiency and reliability
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and work orders to plan and complete high-quality field service
- Ensure compliance with safety, code, and EPA requirements while following Cool
- Sys procedures
- Collaborate with customers and team members, provide accurate documentation, and support on-call and emergency service as needed
