This position requires the candidate to work an alternate week schedule:
Week 1 (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM each day) and Week 2 (Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM each day). An engineering technician is needed to provide on-site hands-on fab support. The successful candidate will work directly with equipment owners and operators to track daily tool problems, troubleshoot force completes, track control charts, and execute engineering experiments.
Job Duties:
Own daily equipment execution by resolving wafer force completes, examining equipment logs, assessing alarms, and communicating issues to the engineering team. Analyze particle-level or metal contamination, etch rate, or deposition rate failures, collect maps and elemental information, and document and share findings with the engineering team to address manufacturing concerns. Track SPC or control charts to highlight trends and potential excursions to the engineering team.
Provide hands-on fab support for experiments and engineering work on equipment, maintaining the operations baseline for advanced semiconductor technology development. Benefits:
