School-Based Social Worker

Community Maternity Services is recruiting a School-Based Social Worker to work at Arbor Hill Elementary School.

• Provide social work services, including individual and group therapy, psycho‑educational groups, assessments, referrals, behavioral management, support services, and family casework for students.
• Attend faculty meetings, Instructional Support Team, Family Support Team, and other meetings as required by the school principal.
• Provide case management services by establishing linkages and referrals for service provision within the greater health, human service, and health care communities.
• Assist classroom teachers in dealing with children with specific behavioral issues.
• Plan and develop group work on various topics such as anger management, self‑esteem, anti‑violence, communication skills, and conflict resolution.

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday 8:30 am – 4:00 pm. 10‑month position focused on students from kindergarten through 5th grade.

Minimum Salary: $33.25 per hour. Maximum Salary: $33.25 per hour.

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field, or LMSW/LMHC.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of current car insurance and registration, and access to a reliable vehicle.
