School Counselor – Community Maternity Services

Position is a 12‑month assignment at Hackett Middle School with a schedule Monday‑Friday. The minimum salary is $27.00 per hour and the maximum salary is $30.00 per hour.

• Provide individual and group counseling, psycho‑educational groups, assessments, referrals, behavioral management, and support services for students at Arbor Hill Elementary School or Hackett Middle School, as assigned.
• Attend faculty meetings, Instructional Support Team, Family Support Team, and other meetings as directed by the school principal.
• Deliver case management services by establishing linkages and referrals for services within the broader health, human services, and health care communities.
• Assist classroom teachers in addressing children with specific behavioral issues.
• Plan and facilitate group work on topics such as anger management, self‑esteem, conflict resolution, and communication skills.

• Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field, or LMSW/LMHC.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of current car insurance and registration, and access to a reliable vehicle.
