Software Architect; AWS​/Python

Location and Purpose

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Software Architect in Albany, NY.

• Work with teams to modernize data cleaning and transformation processes using version control and collaborative repositories.
• Design, build and maintain data ingestion pipelines in the Cloud.
• Partner with manager to make critical decisions about technology infrastructure and components.
• Ensure performance, scalability, security, and maintainability in all DE projects.
• Build automated tests and validation processes.
• Guide development teams, mentor engineers, and provide technical direction throughout product life cycle.
• Create high‑level specifications and design documents for the team to follow.
• Follow department‑level and division‑level directives, best practices, standards, and methodologies as appropriate or requested.

• Make high‑level design choices and dictate technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms; design multi‑level architecture or component interactions of a large‑scale software system.
• Have extensive industry experience; considered at the top of his/her field with ability to guide large teams.
• 84 months experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud‑based web applications using AWS.
• 84 months experience with analysis of complex business rules, workflow processes, and re‑engineering business processes.
• 84 months experience with data processing and analysis using Python on Linux platform.
• 72 months experience writing transformations with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) or similar ETL tool.
