Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Lead Java Engineer (Onsite) with experience developing and building high‑performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients to quickly deliver valuable, maintainable software. Our team is agile, retrospective, and focused on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities- Design and implement effective analytics solutions and models deployed in Cloud platforms (Azure/GCP).
- Examine business requirements and provide solutions; interact with TPM and Tech Lead and lead the conversation.
- Build the application based on business requirements following industry coding standards, writing unit test cases, and meeting or exceeding coverage defined by the project.
- Ensure features are successfully tested and deployed to production.
- Implement proper monitoring solutions recommended by the client.
- Document design and service specifications; guide developers in preparing functional and technical specifications.
- 8–10+ years of experience in Advanced Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, any Cloud Platform (Azure preferred).
- Strong experience in Kafka or any messaging queue.
- Hands‑on experience or knowledge of designing large‑scale, high‑volume applications.
Applications will be accepted until April 13, 2026. The annual salary for this position is between $95,000 – $135,500 base, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to applicable plans.
