Java Architect; JPA​/Hibernate​/Oracle 10g​/JSF

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for Java Architect in Albany, NY.

This position will design and implement software solutions and assure current and new technologies are effectively integrated to fulfil business needs. This individual will be expected to participate in the following activities:

• Implement Integrated Justice (IJ) Portal standards related to application technologies, including UI standards, development methodology, and coding and style guides.
• Act as the primary technical liaison with technical infrastructure teams to resolve problems and implement solutions to technical issues impacting application performance.
• Work with the Infrastructure teams to execute activities such as performance test planning and execution failure failover planning and execution, endurance testing and deployment planning and testing.
• Provide the analysis, design, and code reviews for enterprise applications using JAVA/JEE, JSF, XML, XSLT and for the IBM Portal/Web Sphere Application development software.
• Perform oversight of development activities which may include data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, preparing logical database models, testing and implementation.
• Prepare, and/or review technical documentation such as designs, schemas, etc., as appropriate.
• Provide technical guidance to teams of developers.

• Make high-level design choices and dictate technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
• 84 months of experience designing and developing applications that were implemented with JAVA Development Kit (JDK 8 or higher).
• 84 months of experience writing and maintaining code using Java Persistence API (JPA) or Hibernate.
• 84 months of experience with Oracle 10g or higher including Development, DML, DDL, and DCL with PL/SQL.
• 60 months of experience designing and developing applications in Prime Faces/JSF or the Angular framework.
• 60 months of experience in identifying and resolving application performance issues.
• 60 months of experience designing, developing, and deploying applications in IBM Web Sphere Application Servers 6.0 or higher, Tomcat server 9 or higher, or JBoss Application Server 7 or higher.
• 48 months of experience developing, implementing and integrating systems related to criminal justice processing at the state or federal level (including but not limited to: disposition processing, fingerprint identification processing, criminal history updating, Sex Offender management, tracking of Wanted/Missing persons, or initiatives related to Offender Supervision).
