Location: City of Albany
We are seeking an experienced HL7 Mirth Connect Developer with strong FHIR expertise to design, develop, and support healthcare interoperability solutions.
Key Requirements- 5+ years of experience with HL7 v2.x,
Mirth Connect (Next Gen Connect), and healthcare integrations. - Hands‑on experience with FHIR (R4 preferred), REST APIs, and JSON/XML.
- Strong knowledge of interface development, message transformation, routing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience integrating with EMR/EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.) is preferred.
- Familiarity with healthcare standards such as HL7, CCD/C-CDA, X12, and DICOM is a plus.
- Experience with SQL, JavaScript, and API integration.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Healthcare domain experience and knowledge of interoperability best practices.
