Scope of ProjectThe State of New York Information Technology Services (ITS) is seeking a Senior Web Developer with strong Drupal expertise to provide development support and website enhancements. The selected candidate will develop and maintain enterprise Drupal websites, ensuring they are accessible, responsive, compliant with New York State standards, and aligned with industry best practices. The developer will leverage Drupal Enterprise Platform technologies and Acquia Cloud to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality web solutions while supporting both frontend and backend development initiatives.
Responsibilities- Ensure that all Drupal websites that are developed and delivered are usable, functionally accessible, responsively designed, and compliant with NYS standards and best practices.
- Utilize an Enterprise Platform solution (Drupal) to accomplish its mission, leveraging current technologies and industry best practices as applicable to improve its service delivery.
- Develop Drupal theming, custom functionality, module development, frontend, and/or backend development.
- 64 months of experience in custom Drupal module development including modules, features and themes.
- 48 Months of experience in using Acquia, Search Stax, SOLR.
- 48 months of experience in using standard Drupal modules such as: CTools, Views, Panels, and extending them through code.
- 64 months of experience HTML/5, CSS/3, SASS.
- 64 months of programming experience with PHP.
- 48 Months of experience in using GIT.
