Overview
Title: Enterprise Java Application Developer | Spring Boot | Hybrid
Location: Greater Albany Area, NY (Hybrid – 2–3 Days Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract
Status: Accepting Candidates
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Java Application Developer to support the design, development, and enhancement of large-scale enterprise applications. This is an excellent opportunity to work on mission-critical systems in a collaborative Agile environment while leveraging modern Java technologies and best development practices.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications using Core Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Develop and integrate RESTful Web Services with enterprise applications and backend systems.
- Build scalable, high-performance solutions using relational databases and optimized SQL queries.
- Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to continuous improvements in application performance and reliability.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 3–8 years of hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Core Java/J2EE and Spring technologies.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, ORM frameworks, JUnit, and Java build tools.
- Experience supporting or developing large-scale enterprise software applications.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaborative development environments.
- Experience in Healthcare, Medicaid, or Health Exchange systems is a plus.
- Exposure to Angular or other modern front-end frameworks is desirable.
