We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a strong software development background and hands-on experience in test automation, API testing, AI-powered testing tools, and CI/CD environments
. This role is ideal for developers who have transitioned into quality engineering and are passionate about building scalable automation frameworks rather than simply executing test scripts.

The ideal candidate will possess strong Core Java development skills
, extensive experience with Selenium automation
, API testing tools such as Postman and REST Assured
, and practical experience leveraging AI tools such as Claude, Git Hub Copilot, or similar technologies to improve testing efficiency, automation coverage, and productivity.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java and Selenium
  .
• Create robust automated test scripts for web applications and enterprise systems.
• Develop reusable automation components and utilities to improve testing efficiency.
• Implement automation strategies covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing scenarios.
• Ensure automation coverage includes edge cases, validation scenarios, and business-critical workflows.

• Develop and execute automated API test suites using Postman
  , REST Assured
  , or similar tools.
• Validate API functionality, performance, and data integrity across systems.
• Create automated validations for RESTful services and integrations.
• Perform backend data validation using SQL queries and database testing techniques.

• Utilize AI tools such as Claude, Git Hub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms to enhance test automation development and productivity.
• Leverage AI-assisted coding and analysis to improve automation coverage and defect detection.
• Apply AI-powered approaches for test case generation, code reviews, debugging, and automation optimization.

• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins

• Support continuous testing practices within Agile development environments.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to quality best practices.

• Manage automation code using Git, Git Hub, IBM RTC, or similar version control systems
  .
• Maintain automation repositories and support collaborative development practices.
• Document automation frameworks, test strategies, and testing standards.

• 3+ years of overall experience in Software Development, Test Automation, or SDET roles.
• Strong programming experience with Core Java
  .
• Hands-on experience developing automation frameworks using Selenium Web Driver and Java
  .
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman
  , REST Assured
  , or equivalent technologies.
• Experience leveraging AI tools (Claude, Git Hub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) within software development or testing workflows.
• Strong SQL skills for backend testing and data validation.
• Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with version control systems such as Git, Git Hub, or IBM RTC
  .
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, verification, validation, and automation best practices.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
