Location:
Albany, NY.
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm.
- Load all necessary supplies for the daily pickups.
- Complete daily pickup schedule in a timely manner.
- Deliver all daily pickups to your branch at the end of the shift.
- Handle all specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently.
- Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws.
- Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups.
- Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pickups as needed.
- Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed.
- Provide excellent service to clients by picking up, transporting, and delivering medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports.
Included with this position is a company vehicle for the route. You may take the vehicle home for $125 per month for personal use.
Pay RangePay Range: $17.75 - $20.00 per hour. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
Minimum Qualifications- No education or experience required.
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of driver or courier experience.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Very punctual with strong time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to problem solve customer issues.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- At least 21 years old.
Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO/FTO, tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan.
Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan.
Employees scheduled on a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO/FTO.
