P&D Driver

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure the accuracy and compliance of transport documents.
• Manage loading and unloading of cargo, including hazardous materials handling.
• Operate tractor-trailer, including coupling, uncoupling, connecting lines, and adjusting equipment.
• Operate safely in heavy traffic and tight spaces, maintaining excellent customer service and professionalism.
• Report incidents or delays and adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

• Minimum 6 months, preferably 1 year, of driving experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid CDL with endorsements for HAZMAT, Tanker, and Twin Trailers; no automatic restrictions.
• At least 21 years old.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write in English; perform simple mathematical calculations; handle receipts; read maps and road signs; maintain driving logs.
• Detailed knowledge of DOT rules, regulations, and guidelines (safe driving, hours of service, vehicle inspections, hazardous materials transport).
• Meeting DOT physical qualifications and passing alcohol and drug tests.

$94,731-$103,332 annually (average may vary based on experience, hours, and location).
