- Deliver steel to customer locations using a flatbed trailer
- Tarp, strap, and secure loads using proper flatbed securement techniques to meet DOT safety requirements and protect freight during transport
- Complete 30 to 40 stops per week on average
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
- Monday through Friday
- 5:00 AM start time

Qualifications- Valid Class A CDL. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable full attendance is an essential function of the job
- English language proficiency (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
- Work required schedule, location, complete Penske employment application, undergo background investigation (including past employment, education, criminal history) and drug screening
- Position regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive; must work in a constant state of alertness, be safe, and accept responsibility for own safety and safety of others
- Must be able to see and hear; vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Move frequently; stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch, handle, feel, reach. Must lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly and up to 100 lbs (45 kg) occasionally
- Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit vehicle and rear cargo area
