Role
A Class A Linehaul Driver responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles primarily during overnight hours, transporting freight between terminals or relay points, and occasionally making customer deliveries or pickups. The role involves loading, unloading, and securing freight, inspecting vehicles, and complying with federal and company regulations for safe operation, including hazardous materials transportation.
ResponsibilitiesDrive safely, perform vehicle inspections, secure freight, assist with loading/unloading, and maintain accurate logs. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, federal, state, and local laws, and company policies.
Qualifications & SkillsMust have at least 1-2 years of interstate driving experience or a qualifying driving school diploma; valid driver’s license; hazardous materials endorsement or ability to obtain within 90 days; clean driving record with no recent violations or violations exceeding specified limits; pass DOT physical and drug tests; and consent to background checks, drug screening, and use of driver-facing cameras.
Key DutiesOperate tractor-trailers, ensure safe freight handling, maintain compliance, and uphold safety standards in a well-maintained fleet. Candidates should demonstrate dependability, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
