Seeking a Class A City Driver responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to pick up and deliver freight in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
Key Duties Include
- Loading, unloading, and securing freight using appropriate equipment
- Conducting vehicle inspections and reporting defects
- Transporting freight within regulatory hours and maintaining compliance records
- Handling hazardous materials as required and adhering to safety protocols
- Performing physical tasks such as lifting and pulling freight
- Minimum two years of verifiable interstate driving experience or one year plus approved driving school diploma
- Pass a driving test and obtain necessary endorsements (Haz-Mat, Tanker) within 90 days if not already held
- Valid driver’s license from the resident state, with a clean driving record over the past 36 months
- Must pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background checks
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math in English
- Consent to use of driver-facing event recorders and federal drug/alcohol testing requirements
