Location: City of Albany
Position Summary
General Warehouse Associate responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This role also counts and inspects product, reporting any damages or discrepancies to leadership. Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and are expected to perform all duties as assigned.

- Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands.
- Efficiently and accurately pick products and stage them in the appropriate areas.
- Stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products as determined by client requirements.
- Process all picking activities according to the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Use the appropriate documentation to ensure all products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly.
- Verify that products and/or orders meet quality standards and report any damages or discrepancies.
- Perform packing, shrink wrapping, and labeling tasks as required.
- Process all quality control functions according to the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Execute all safety protocols and accomplish job tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, keeping work areas clean, neat, and orderly.
- Assist in warehouse security efforts.
- Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain equipment and report any problems.
- Follow prescribed work methods for all equipment usage.
- Assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse, ranging from mild to moderate temperatures during warmer and colder months.
- English proficiency (reading, writing, verbal).
- Basic to intermediate mathematical skills to verify quantities, count inventory, and perform other related duties.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Effective adaptation to change and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced work environment.
- Six months experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
- Current or prior Material Handling Equipment (MHE) certification.
- Occasionally handling finger‑ing, sitting.
- Frequently bending.
- Constantly walking and standing.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 21–50 pounds.
- Reach overhead, reach outward, squat, or kneel as needed.
The employee is rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

Compensation and BenefitsBase pay: $26.75 per hour. Compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
