DC Team Member - Inbound

Warehouse Associate/Receiver – Inbound (DC Team Member) located in Albany, NY. Responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storage of inbound freight within a climate‑controlled distribution center. The role includes operating material handling equipment, maintaining accurate inventory, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

• Unloads freight trucks and verifies shipments against vendor packing slips, return notes, or transfer documents.
• Counts and signs Bills of Lading, ensuring product accuracy for size, color, quantity, and other attributes.
• Inputs data into the computer system based on Purchase Orders, Return Notes, or Transfer documents.
• Files and communicates discrepancies to Accounts Payable, Procurement, Vendors, and other DC facilities.
• Stores received products in designated stock areas, managing rotation and ensuring proper dating for stock.

• Minimum age 18 years.
• No prior experience required; 6+ months of warehouse or production experience preferred.
• Strong reading comprehension and basic math skills to read labels and calculate quantities.
• Willingness or ability to operate material–handling equipment such as order pickers, reach trucks, and forklifts.

Must be able to lift and transport 30 lbs regularly and 50‑70 lbs occasionally. Must stand/walk on concrete, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift. Mandated mandatory overtime may be required. The environment may be cooler (35‑46°F). Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.

Full‑time position with a salary range of $17,000 to $18,000 annually, depending on confirmed job‑related skills and experience.
