Tax Senior Specialist
Seeking a seasoned Tax Senior Specialist to focus on estate and trust tax at a well-established regional CPA firm in Albany, OR. Offering a hybrid work setup, competitive benefits with substantial bonuses, generous employer 401K contribution, and diverse client base.
Responsibilities:- Manages tax compliance and reviews tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Advises clients on complex tax matters and demonstrates technical proficiency.
- Supervises tax staff, provides training, and oversees client assignments.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Develops and mentors Semi-seniors and Staff accountants.
- Participates in reviews and evaluations of the Tax Department.
- 2-5 years’ public accounting experience with a focus on tax, including estate and trust tax.
- Previous experience supervising tax preparers for at least one year.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required, Master's degree in taxation preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred.
