Successful candidate for the position of Administration Assistant will perform various administrative, clerical and financial tasks to support our front-end office.

Must be a motivated self-starter and havethe ability to work diligently to help maintain smooth office operations. Candidate must be dependable and highly organized with strong attention to detail and great communication skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following:

  • Computer skills, proficient with MS Office applications (Word and Excel)
  • Perform filing and copying
  • Maintain vendor and customer files
  • Receptionist duties and visitor control
  • Regular inventory for office supplies
  • Assist with month end closing (as needed)
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Additional

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing visual aids for weekly and monthly meetings
  • Maintains safe operations by keeping work area clean and organized
  • Maintains continuity among team by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications, etc.
  • Participate in required meetings & trainings
  • Holiday Party Planning
  • Provide administrative support for purchasing activities, including creating purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers.
  • Able to cross train into other departments as needed
Scope of Position
  • This position is intended to provide administrative support wherever needed throughout the organization. Because business priorities change, the Administrative Assistant is expected to perform duties that are reasonably related to the position, even if they are not specifically listed in this job description. Responsibilities may change or expand as the needs of the business evolve.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in clerical/finance fieldor education equivalent
  • Epicor ERP software experience preferred
Language Skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
