PURPOSE

AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Provides a positive customer experience to support brand loyalty. Responsible for customer service functions pertaining to timely processing of orders from receipt to shipment and working with the manufacturing.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Maintains a basic understanding of products and services offered by Allied Seed.
  • Processes invoices and credits as well as monitors past due invoices.
  • Provide order updates and tracking to customers.
  • Answers general questions from sales and customers.
  • Maintains working knowledge of company ERP system.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Crosstrain with other Customer Care staff to provide uninterrupted processes.
  • Ability to work well with other teams to include but not limited to Sales and Operations.
  • Follows Allied Seed’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program. Environmental Health and Safety, OHSA and DOT policies and procedures as they apply.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Normally requires a college degree in business or the equivalent thereof, and 1+ year of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of logistics and seed operations. Assist in process improvement discussions, projects, and implementation with other enterprise teams.
  • Able to read, assimilate, evaluate, and interpret technical data pertaining to production and quality testing.
  • Demonstrates essential abilities, including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skills development.
  • Able to actively contribute to all division initiatives.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on Allied Seed’s policies and procedures, and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
