Customer Service Specialist

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints to ensure a positive customer experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a service-oriented mindset to effectively assist customers across multiple channels.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Key Responsibilities:

* Engage with customers via phone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and product information

* Process and enter customer orders for new or additional products and services

* Address customer questions and concerns, escalating complex issues to the appropriate specialist or department

* Ensure timely resolution of customer problems and inquiries

* Maintain customer accounts and interaction records, documenting inquiries, complaints, and comments

* Perform additional related duties as assigned

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

* Strong communication skills, including active listening

* Service-oriented approach with the ability to resolve customer grievances

* Proficiency in computer skills, with the ability to quickly learn new software

Education & Experience:

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* Previous customer service experience required

Physical Requirements:

* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer

* Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed
