Job Overview
Varitone Architecture in Albany, Oregon, has an immediate opening for an experienced (8+ years) full‑time senior Architectural Production staff member. This role will involve working on a variety of projects in our pipeline, including hotel work, ground‑up design, tenant improvements, and more.

Responsibilities- Managing and overseeing the production process of a variety of commercial projects, providing quality control and redlines, and coordinating with and mentoring junior team members.
- Maintaining relevant checklists.
- Creating Revit base models of as‑built conditions.
- Creating detailing CD sets for small to large commercial projects.
- Picking up redlines.
- Incorporating basic building code knowledge.
- Designing with appropriate considerations for ADA code, structural systems, MEP systems, and more.
- Finding and correcting basic code errors in floor plans.
- Seeing the project’s big picture and finding all necessary details to support it.
- Working through complex architectural detailing.
- Mentoring, training, and guiding junior staff in Revit production tasks.
- Coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors as needed.
- Assisting the architect in the CA phase as needed.
- Associate’s degree in drafting or a bachelor’s degree in architecture.
- Eight or more years of professional commercial architecture firm experience.
- Fluent in Revit (REQUIRED).
- Ability to meet deadlines and work within given schedule parameters.
- Collaborative with and supportive of the rest of the team.
- Take appropriate initiative and keep busy without supervision.
- Solutions oriented.
Salary range: $65,000 - $85,000+ depending on experience.
