Position Title: PT Faculty, Computer Aided Drafting/Design

Appointment Type: Part-Time Hourly
Location: Albany Campus, Albany, OR
This pooled position involves teaching Computer Aided Design Drafting courses. The instructor will develop and deliver curriculum that meets the learning needs of students across Mechanical, Architectural, and Civil drafting programs.
Essential Duties- Teach CADD courses that meet the learning needs of students.
- Develop curriculum, identify, and assess student‑learning outcomes.
- Deliver course content via face‑to‑face, remote instruction, or a hybrid format.
- Perform other professional duties as needed.
Position involves extended computer use and use of traditional drafting tools. Requires forearm, hand, and finger dexterity, good hand‑eye coordination, near visual acuity, and color vision. Must be able to sit at a computer or drafting table for long periods. Work is performed in a normal office setting; over 50% of the time is spent on a computer.
Education and Experience- Associate degree in Computer Aided Design Drafting or a closely related field, or 4+ years of full‑time experience as a draftsman.
- Experience in Mechanical, Architectural, or Civil drafting required.
- Experience in delivering course content remotely preferred.
- Criminal Background Check – C4.
