Job SummaryThis posting is for a pooled position. Applicants must reapply annually to maintain their active status. The College will review applicants from the pool as openings arise. You will teach core mathematics classes and support student learning.
Essential DutiesWork is performed in an office or classroom setting with minimal exposure to safety and health hazards. The role requires arm, hand, and finger dexterity to operate keyboard or other office equipment. A good visual acuity is required to recognize alphanumeric characters. Adequate hearing and speaking ability are needed to communicate with staff and students. Considerable time is spent working on a computer and working indoors.

Collective Bargaining Unit Information:
This position is represented by the Part‑time Faculty Association. All new employees are required to be compensated via direct deposit. Offer of employment is contingent on Oregon residency at the start of work. Terms and conditions are subject to the LBCC Administrative Rules and Board Policies. Completion of a post‑offer criminal background check is required. Linn‑Benton Community College does not offer visa sponsorship.
Within three days of hire, employees must complete the Department of Homeland Security Form I‑9.
- Courses are paid on a per‑credit basis.
- New part‑time faculty begin at Step 1 of the pay scale, with step adjustments once per term if eligible.
- Compensation for meetings, training, advising, curriculum development, or other related work is outlined in the 25/26 Academic Year Part‑Time Salary Schedule.
- Direct deposit is required for all new employees.
- Employment is contingent on residency in Oregon.
- Employment terms are governed by the LBCC Administrative Rules and Board Policies.
- Completion of a post‑offer criminal background check is required.
- No visa sponsorship is offered.
