Salary: $52,792–$93,707 (based on education and experience)

Under the general supervision of the School Principal, the teacher will develop students' skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing; foster communication skills; develop an understanding and appreciation of literature of all types; motivate students to read a wide variety of publications to derive information, comprehend, and critically assess the reading materials; and promote the development of skills in the field of English reading, grammar, and syntax.

Retirement Contribution:
Greater Albany School participates in the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS and OPSRP). Upon eligibility, the district contributes 6% of an employee's salary to their Individual Account Program (IAP). Eligibility is defined as working at least six full calendar months in a qualifying position. Part‑time employees working at least six months and 600 hours in a calendar year will qualify.
