Position: Middle School Certified School Psychologist - Albany, OR

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• Active, valid certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students
• Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
• Deep understanding of special education processes and best practices
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and school teams
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive psycho educational evaluations for students
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and special education teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Providing direct counseling and social-emotional support to students
• Interpreting assessment results to inform educational decisions and interventions
• Delivering crisis intervention and prevention services as needed
• Facilitating professional development and consultation for staff on topics related to mental health, behavioral supports, and student learning
