$15.88 per hour

This pooled position provides support services to students with disabilities, including proctoring tests, taking dictation, coordinating testing schedules, preparing instructional and testing materials, and assisting students with assistive technology.

• May require hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate computer keyboard and other office equipment.
• Requires good visual acuity to recognize alphanumeric characters.
• Requires good hearing and well‑developed speaking ability to communicate with staff and students.

• Work is performed indoors with minimal exposure to health and safety hazards.
• Considerable time is spent doing work at a computer and standing or leaning.

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of one year full‑time experience in a work or educational setting involving mentoring activities and/or setup/support of learning experiences.

• Desire and commitment to work with students with physical and learning disabilities.
• Operational knowledge of general office equipment, including personal computers.
• Working knowledge of assistive technology is preferred.
• Ability to perform the duties of the position efficiently and effectively.
• Respectful communication and collaboration with diverse individuals.
• Ability to understand the needs and differences of students and appropriately respond to those needs.
• Background in operations, policies and procedures for registration in an educational setting is preferred.
• Bilingual ability is preferred.
