Under the general supervision of the School Principal, the teacher will develop students' skills and competence in basic and complex mathematical principles, equations, formulas, and calculations, as well as an understanding of the application of mathematics in the solution of practical problems. The Science Teacher will provide instruction based on the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), provide appropriate instruction and intervention support, meeting students where they are academically, and collaborate with colleagues regarding Multi-tiered systems of support.

• Retirement Contribution:
  The district contributes 6% of an employee's salary to a pension account under the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS and OPSRP). Eligibility is defined as working at least six full calendar months in a qualifying position or, for part-time employees, at least six months and 600 hours in a calendar year.
