Responsibilities
- Coordinates and implements the University Partnerships program, including maintaining and creating university articulations and Degree Partnership student recruitment, registration, and marketing.
- Provides student support for program navigation, academic progression, referral monitoring, intervention, communication, and events.
- Develops and monitors email campaigns for prospective students.
- Answers questions and navigates the process with prospective and newly admitted students.
- Conducts DPP information sessions and recruiting events on and off campus.
- Provides overview of program, admission requirements, application process, orientation, and course registration.
- Manages student entry into Banner for the DPP, admitting and matriculating students into LBCC.
- Attends off‑campus START sessions during summer and term orientations at OSU, provides academic advising, interprets placement tests, and assists student scheduling.
- Attends orientation sessions at other partner institutions as appropriate.
- Co‑ordinates transcript evaluations with the Transcripts office for incoming students.
- Gives campus tours to prospective students and families.
- Advises DPP students on course selection at LBCC and partner institutions, using online articulation tables.
- Enters and verifies prerequisite overrides for DPP students.
- Problem‑solves progression challenges and barriers, maintaining knowledge of current policies across partner institutions.
- Creates welcoming environment, collaborates with LBCC staff and faculty to meet academic needs.
- Connects students to faculty or managers for counseling, problem solving, and intervention.
- Develops, monitors, and maintains articulation agreements and curricular guides at DPP and other partners.
- Reviews, edits, and maintains college‑wide advising guides for OSU and partners; audits course changes and alerts the dean of alterations.
- Coordinates meetings between partner universities and LBCC faculty to maintain agreements.
- Supports other staff in using Banner and Aviso, trains as needed, and provides backup support.
- AA/AS degree.
- At least one year of customer‑facing support experience.
- At least one year of demonstrated proficiency in maintaining, operating, and editing workflows and back‑end functionality of Banner or similar system.
- Experience managing complex data processes, public presentations, and small‑group student or client consultations.
- Criminal background check – C4 required.
- Required to be compensated via direct deposit.
- Offers contingent on Oregon residency at time of work commencement.
