This posting is for a Learn & Earn position. To be eligible for Learn & Earn positions you must maintain enrollment in at least six (6) credits at LBCC, maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better (some positions may require a higher GPA). Provide academic support and success coaching mentorship to fellow students in using learning technologies to enhance their learning experience and academic success in individual and group settings.

• Assist and mentor students in understanding and utilizing various educational technologies.
• Create a supportive learning environment to help students identify and build on their technology knowledge.
• Direct students to online resources and effectively demonstrate how to utilize them for self-help.

• Work is performed indoors with no exposure to safety and health hazards. Considerable time may be spent working at a computer.

• Must maintain enrollment in at least 6 credits at LBCC, maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term, maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better, and have financial aid in place to be eligible to work in a Work Study student employee capacity at Linn-Benton Community College.

• Understanding of LBCC academic technology recommended by course instructors or an advanced understanding of how similar technologies work (e.g., learning management systems and video conferencing platforms).
• Well-developed interpersonal communication skills.
• Advanced computer and word processing skills.
• Ability to independently perform assigned responsibilities.
• Willingness to attend training to enhance skills.
• Clear and effective communication in English, both oral and written.

• All new employees are required to be compensated via direct deposit.
