Special Education Teacher in Albany, OR

• Minimum of 10 years experience working as a Special Education (SPED) Teacher
• Active Oregon SPED (Special Education) teaching license required
• Proven expertise in providing direct instructional support, program development, and behavioral or health services coordination
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage confidential student information with care

• Oversee and coordinate the implementation of special education programs in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Support teachers and staff in adapting curriculum and instructional methods for students with diverse learning needs
• Facilitate communication between families, school staff, and outside agencies to ensure comprehensive student support
• Organize and monitor health and behavioral interventions for students receiving special education services
• Provide administrative support, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
