Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer I supports designs through the design-development cycle and into production with an emphasis on design producibility, manufacturing process development and support, and oversees the transition of product to production including follow‑on support. This entry‑level position focuses on supporting engineering and manufacturing activity while building essential skills.

- Support programs, products, and engineering activities.
- Generate bill of materials for assemblies, and work/build instructions.
- Be heavily engaged with technicians and work with hardware.
- Design, develop, and implement basic fixtures, tools, and inspection gauges to facilitate fabrication and assembly.
- Support material and resource planning including Epicor data for BOMs and Methods of Manufacture.
- Support and coordinate material flow.
- Communicate with all levels of the organization to obtain required information, gain acceptance, and implement solutions.
- Assist with prototype builds and evaluations of materials and processes.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers including supplier quality.
- Monitor fabrication and production processes and controls.

Education:
Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent degree. - Typically possesses 0-3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude required.
- Hands‑on engineering experience in a fabrication and assembly shop environment is desired.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams, and work to verbal and written instructions.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
