Position: LMT (Part-Time Chiropractic Clinic)

Licensed Massage Therapist

Mid-Valley Chiropractic Allied Health Sciences is a patient-centered clinic providing chiropractic care, clinical massage therapy, and allied health services in a calm, structured, and collaborative environment. We prioritize quality over quantity, emotional intelligence, healthy boundaries, and compassionate clinical care. We are expanding our massage program and seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday massage hours.

Some patients request lady massage therapists due to personal comfort, cultural background, or trauma-informed care needs. While all qualified applicants are welcome to apply, lady LMTs are encouraged to apply to help meet current patient demand.

The LMT will provide 60-minute therapeutic massage sessions with a focus on clinical outcomes, patient comfort, and integrated care alongside our chiropractors. This is not a spa environment—our therapists work at a sustainable pace of 3–5 massages per day, with time for documentation and room reset. Our massage program is integrated with chiropractic care, allowing therapists to work collaboratively in a clinical treatment setting.

Schedule:

  • Monday: 10:00am–6:00pm
  • Wednesday: 10:00am–6:00pm
  • Friday: 10:00am–6:00pm

(Exact hours based on patient load; schedule remains consistent week to week.)

Hours:

Approximately 9–15 massage hours per week based on a schedule of 3–5 one-hour sessions per day. We prioritize sustainable treatment schedules that allow therapists to provide high-quality care without physical burnout.

Compensation: $38–$42 per massage hour (W-2), depending on experience, professionalism, and clinical skill set. Additional paid training time is included. This rate is designed to attract stable, high-quality clinicians who value predictable scheduling, clinical collaboration, and a low-stress environment. Consistent reliability and punctuality are essential, as massage therapy is an important part of coordinated patient care.

Benefits:

  • Oregon Sick Time (accrued for all part-time employees).
  • PTO accrual after a qualifying period.
  • Retirement plan access.
  • Paid training and onboarding.
  • Employee discounts for chiropractic care and massage.
  • Predictable scheduling—no evenings or weekends.
  • Quiet, supportive, low-drama clinical environment.
  • Opportunities for professional development and long-term stability.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 60-minute treatment-oriented massage sessions.
  • Perform accurate, timely SOAP notes.
  • Maintain a clean and professional treatment environment.
  • Collaborate with chiropractors in a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Uphold excellent clinical and personal boundaries.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and team members.
  • Maintain Oregon LMT license in good standing.
  • Participate in occasional team meetings and paid training.

This role is ideal for someone who is:

  • Calm, grounded, and emotionally intelligent.
  • Professional, punctual, and reliable.
  • Comfortable in a clinical healthcare setting.
  • Respectful of patient boundaries and provider collaboration.
  • Looking for stable, long-term part-time work.
  • Happy with predictable scheduling and moderate daily session volume.
  • Personable, compassionate, and able to hold space in a therapeutic environment.

This role is NOT a good fit for someone who:

  • Prefers a high-volume spa setting.
  • Struggles with punctuality or maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Becomes defensive about clinic policies.
  • Wants a commission-based or 1099 independent contractor arrangement.
  • Needs rapid schedule changes week to week.
  • Prefers to control their own treatment flow outside a clinical team.

How to Apply:

  • Please submit your resume and a brief note sharing:
    • Why you're interested in a clinical massage role.
    • Your preferred working style.
    • Any schedule considerations.
    • Your desired start date.

We look forward to welcoming a kind, professional, and patient-centered LMT to our team.
