  • Responsible for supervising the staff and daily operations of the front office of a clinic. Acts as a liaison between the office and other division clinics, clinical areas and SHS departments such as billing.
  • JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
    • Responsible for supervising the staff and daily operations of the front office of a clinic. Acts as a liaison between the office and other division clinics, clinical areas and SHS departments such as billing.
    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    • SHS Urology Teams diagnose and treat urological conditions in men and women including but not limited to surgical treatment of cancers (prostate, bladder, kidney and testicular) treatment of prostate disorders, kidney stone removal, vasectomy and incontinence.
    EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • One (1) of the following required:
      • Three (3) years experience in a healthcare setting.
      • Associate degree plus one (1) year experience in a healthcare setting.
      Experience or training in the following required:
      • Medical/insurance terminology.
      • ICD-9/10 and CPT coding.
      • Computer applications.
      One (1) year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

    • Communication
      - Effective written and oral communication skills to explain complex issues, exchange information between team members, and tactfully discuss issues. Ability to perform group presentations and listen to and understand complex information and ideas.

      - Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to situations that may arise with high risk or diverse patient populations. Ability to adjust actions in relation to others and adapt to offer best possible care to patients.
