Embark on a meaningful contract position, making a lasting impact in early childhood education as part of a dedicated team. This full-time opportunity is perfect for professionals with a background in school-based Occupational Therapy who thrive in collaborative environments. Located near Albany, OR, youll work 40 hours per week throughout the school year, providing essential support to young learners in an Early Intervention (EI) Program.

In this role, youll enjoy a dynamic schedule serving an early childhood caseload while partnering closely with other specialists on an evaluation team. The position is primarily itinerant, offering variety as you travel to different educational settings. With robust support from the EI Team, youll always have guidance and professional camaraderie as you deliver exceptional care and guidance to children and families.

Preferred Experience:
  • Valid Occupational Therapy license and eligibility for employment in a school setting.
  • Previous experience with early intervention, preschool, or pediatric populations preferred.
  • Comfortable working as part of an interdisciplinary evaluation team.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in multiple locations within the programs service area.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct screenings and evaluations for children ages birth to five in early intervention settings.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in partnership with families and team members.
  • Travel to different sites as needed to provide direct services and support.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, planning sessions, and professional development.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation according to program standards.
