OverviewWe are partnering with a leading, nationally recognized electrical contractor that is continuing to expand its presence in the mission critical and data center market. The organization is seeking a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex electrical construction projects within fast paced, high demand environments.
This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from preconstruction through closeout, while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full lifecycle of electrical construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
- Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial performance
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines
- Coordinate with field leadership, including Superintendents and Foremen, to ensure efficient execution of work
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and procurement processes
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and promote a strong safety culture across the project
- Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies
- Support change order management, contract administration, and documentation processes
- Drive quality assurance and ensure successful commissioning and turnover of systems
- 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical construction project management
- Proven experience managing multi million dollar electrical construction projects
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, switch gear, and mission critical infrastructure preferred
- Experience in data center, mission critical, industrial, or large scale commercial projects strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams
- Experience working within an electrical contractor environment required
