Assistant Branch Manager

Assistant Branch Manager Willamette Valley Bank is seeking a detail oriented individual with strong customer-focus for an Assistant Branch Manager role. The ABM will support the Branch Manager in growing the bank and leading a team of retail branch employees. This role is responsible for staff development, operational oversight, and ensuring high-quality client experience while meeting sales and service goals.

Key Responsibilities Include Ensure a high-quality client experience with every interaction, supporting the bank’s service standards and customer satisfaction goals

Assist the Branch Manager in coaching, developing, and motivating branch staff to achieve performance goals

Oversee internal and external audits and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, and manage the implementation an revision of branch operations

Ensure branch staff adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, including completing mandatory compliance training

Promote staff development in sales, service, compliance, and leadership

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years sales experience preferred

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience preferred

In-depth knowledge of bank products, services, policies and procedures

Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office Excellent customer service and sales management capabilities

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Strong interpersonal and self-direction skills
