Injection Molder I (Wax) – PRIOR EXPERIENCE ONLY

Duties and Responsibilities- Perform daily checks: ensure dies are clean, verify temperature and pressure gauges on the wax press machine, confirm wax levels in the press machine and melting pots, and check for hydraulic leaks. (Die: a tool used to create a wax mold.)
- Retrieve aluminum dies from storage and move them to the workstation; dies weigh 25–250 pounds.
- Consistently produce wax molds that meet engineering specifications for quality while maintaining quantity requirements.
- Recognize defects in wax patterns and identify causes of each defect.
- Push and pull dies in and out of the mold press during operation.
- Prior industry experience with injection molding REQUIRED – applicants with no prior experience will not be considered.
- Must understand and follow technique cards.
- Compliance with the general company attendance standard is required.
- Must be able to lift from the floor to waist level up to 50 lbs occasionally with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs frequently with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must be able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to effectively work as part of a team.
- Must maintain concentration and remain on task in a busy environment.
- HS diploma or equivalent GED preferred; candidates not meeting this requirement who possess relevant experience will be considered.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be willing to undergo a pre‑employment background check and drug screen.
- Exposure to fumes from melting wax.
- Working near moving mechanical parts for extended periods.
- Twisting and turning of wrist and forearm for extended periods.
- Requires use of hands to operate controls of mold presses.
- Job performed under reasonably good working conditions; exposure generally not disagreeable.
- Required to wear safety glasses in the performance of duties.
- Swing Shift (Monday‑Thursday 3:30 pm–2:00 am) – 4×10 – $1.00/hr shift differential
- Weekend Day Shift (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) – 3×12 – $1.25/hr shift differential
- Overtime offered based on business needs.
