Heat Treat Operator - Titanium Aerospace Manufacturing - Swing Shift

A Heat Treat operator sets up and runs multiple heat treat furnaces; sorts and serializes the different castings for various heat treats, and sets up the castings on fixtures.

• Sets up and runs multiple heat treat furnaces.
• Sorts and serializes the different castings for various heat treats.
• Maintains accurate heat treat logs for all castings and test materials.
• Follows instructions both written and verbal, and effectively communicates orally and in writing with employees from other departments to expedite castings into heat treat.
• Works in a responsible, safe, and professional manner.

• Basic math ability, including addition.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and procedures.
• Basic computer skills, including retrieving, organizing, and saving files and emails.
• Previous experience in manufacturing and production; aerospace castings preferred.
• Good communication skills at all levels within the organization.
• Ability to interact effectively with co‑workers and supervisors in a positive manner.
• Solid job history, including more than 1 year at previous or recent employers.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Willingness to undergo a pre‑employment background check.
• Willingness to participate in pre‑employment and periodic drug screening.
• Must take a baseline hearing test prior to starting.

• Performed under reasonably good working conditions with some exposure to noise, temperature, and machinery.

• Swing Shift (3:45 pm–2:15 am) – $1.00/hr shift differential.
