Heat Treat Operator - Titanium Aerospace Manufacturing - Swing Shift

Primary PurposeA Heat Treat operator sets up and runs multiple heat treat furnaces; sorts and serializes the different castings for various heat treats, and sets up the castings on fixtures.
Duties And Responsibilities- Sets up and runs multiple heat treat furnaces.
- Sorts and serializes the different castings for various heat treats.
- Maintains accurate heat treat logs for all castings and test materials.
- Follows instructions both written and verbal, and effectively communicates orally and in writing with employees from other departments to expedite castings into heat treat.
- Works in a responsible, safe, and professional manner.
- Basic math ability, including addition.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and procedures.
- Basic computer skills, including retrieving, organizing, and saving files and emails.
- Previous experience in manufacturing and production; aerospace castings preferred.
- Good communication skills at all levels within the organization.
- Ability to interact effectively with co‑workers and supervisors in a positive manner.
- Solid job history, including more than 1 year at previous or recent employers.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Willingness to undergo a pre‑employment background check.
- Willingness to participate in pre‑employment and periodic drug screening.
- Must take a baseline hearing test prior to starting.
- Performed under reasonably good working conditions with some exposure to noise, temperature, and machinery.
- Swing Shift (3:45 pm–2:15 am) – $1.00/hr shift differential.
