We provide all training needed for success in this position.
What you will do- Perform daily checks including ensuring dies are clean, temperature and pressure gauges of the wax press machine are correct, wax levels in press machine and melting pots are correct, and hydraulic leaks are not present.
- Retrieve aluminum dies from storage area.
- Consistently produce wax molds which meet engineering specifications for quality while maintaining quantity requirements.
- Recognize defects in wax patterns and understand causes of each type of defect.
- Must understand and follow work instructions provided in English.
- Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Must be able to lift from floor to waist level up to 50 pounds occasionally with or without reasonable accommodation(s). Must lift up to 15 pounds frequently.
- Must read, write and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Must work effectively as part of a team.
- Must maintain concentration and remain on task in an active environment.
- HS diploma or equivalent GED required; candidates without meeting this requirement but with relevant experience may be considered.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be willing to undergo a pre‑employment background check and drug screen.
- Some exposure to fumes from melting wax.
- Working near moving mechanical parts for extended periods.
- Twisting and turning of wrist and forearm for extended periods.
- Requires use of hands to operate controls of mold presses.
- Job performed under reasonably good working conditions, with proper PPE required.
Full‑time job in a short 3‑day work week.
- Weekend Night Shift (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) 3x12 with $2.50/hr shift differential.
- Overtime offered based on business needs.
