Primary
Purpose:
Shipping and Receiving Clerk will mark parts, create pack slips, box parts, and process shipments using various systems.
- Mark parts per customer specifications using a vibropeen.
- Make customer pack slips using Syteline Manufacturing System.
- Box parts to prepare for shipping.
- Process shipments through various systems such as UPS Worldship, Fed Ex Ground, Fed Ex Express, and LTL services.
- Work in a responsible, safe, and professional manner.
- High level of accuracy, excellent proof‑reading ability, and great attention to detail.
- Ability to retain a great deal of varying information to complete pack slips, certifications, and exportation of freight.
- Clear Motor Vehicle Record (Requires authorization and completion prior to start date)
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Skilledin basic math.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and procedures.
- Ability to retrieve, organize, and save files and emails; intermediate computer skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, withall levels of the organization, including legible handwriting.
- Ability to interact effectively with co‑workers and supervisors in a positive and professional manner.
- Solid job history including more than 1 year at a previous or recent employer.
- HS diploma or equivalent GED required, but candidates not meeting this requirement who possess relevant experience will be considered.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be willing to undergo a pre‑employment background check.
- Must be willing to participate in pre‑employment and periodic drug screening.
- Must take a baseline hearing test prior to starting.
- Part‑marking experience with a vibropeen preferred.
- Previous experience with aerospace castings preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Previous experience working in manufacturing and production preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend and remain active for the majority of the shift.
- The job is performed under reasonably good working conditions with some exposure to noise, temperature, and machinery.
- Day shift (Monday‑Friday) 5x8
