A Heat Treat operator sets up and runs multiple heat treat furnaces, sorts and serializes the different castings for various heat treats, and sets up the castings on fixtures.

• Sets up and runs multiple heat treat furnaces.
• Sorts and serializes the different castings for various heat treats.
• Maintains accurate heat treat logs for all castings and test materials.
• Follows written and verbal instructions, communicates with employees from other departments to expedite castings into heat treat.
• Works in a responsible, safe, and professional manner.

• Basic math ability, including addition.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and procedures.
• Basic computer skills with ability to retrieve, organize, and save files and emails.
• Previous experience working in manufacturing and production; aerospace castings preferred.
• Good communication skills at all levels within the organization.
• Ability to interact effectively with co-workers and supervisors in a positive manner.
• Solid job history including more than 1 year at previous or recent employer.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Willingness to undergo a pre‑employment background check.
• Willingness to participate in pre‑employment drug screen.
• Will take a baseline hearing test prior to starting.
• U.S. person status required for this position (U.S. citizens, legal permanent residents, or protected individuals).

• Job performed under reasonably good working conditions with some exposure to noise, temperature, and machinery.

• Weekend graveyard:
  Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 5:00pm to 5:30am with $2.50 differential.
