Immediate Openings for Injection Molding Technicians
Do you enjoy puzzles? 3D modeling? Are you detail oriented? Like to keep moving? Do you enjoy working in a climate controlled environment? A short work week?
What you will do:- Perform daily checks which include: making sure dies are clean, temperature and pressure gauges of wax press machine are correct, wax levels in press machine and melting pots are correct, and hydraulic leaks are not present. (Die: a tool used to create a wax mold.)
- Retrieve aluminum dies from storage area
- Consistently produce wax molds which meet engineering specifications for quality while maintaining quantity requirements.
- Recognize defects in wax patterns and what causes each type of defect.
- Understand and follow work instructions provided in English.
- Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Lift from floor to waist level up to 50 pounds occasionally with or without reasonable accommodation(s).
- Lift up to 15 pounds frequently with or without reasonable accommodation(s).
- Read, write and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Maintain concentration and remain on task in an active environment.
- HS diploma or equivalent GED required; candidates not meeting this requirement but possessing relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Willing to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Some exposure to fumes from melting wax.
- Working near moving mechanical parts for extended periods of time.
- Twisting and turning of wrist and forearm for extended periods of time.
- Requires use of hands to operate controls of mold presses.
- Work performed under reasonably good working conditions; exposure to above elements is generally not disagreeable.
- Proper PPE required in the performance of duties.
- Full-time job in a short 3-day work week.
- Weekend Night Shift (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) 3x12 - $2.50/hr shift differential.
- Overtime offered based on business needs.

This is a non-management position. This is a full-time position. Pay Range: $20.00/hour or higher with experience.
