Chemical Milling Technician – Titanium Aerospace Manufacturing (Albany, OR)
Weekend night shift, 3 x 12, Friday – Sunday with $2.50 shift premium.
Works in aerospace parts manufacturing as a Chemical Milling Technician. Provides a critical role in removing shallow layers of material from large aircraft components and extruded parts for aerospace components.

Primary PurposeOperate a chemical milling process to produce specific dimensions and move titanium castings throughout the manufacturing area, performing sandblasting and processing castings with hand carts.
Duties and Responsibilities- Move titanium castings by hand cart throughout the manufacturing area and deliver castings to various departments.
- Process castings through the chemical milling process to specific dimensions.
- Operate a part dryer.
- Prior industry experience preferred.
- Ability to understand, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Compliance with general company attendance standards.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent GED required; candidates with equivalent experience may be considered.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Solid job history, including more than 1 year at a previous or recent employer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must be willing to undergo a pre‑employment background check.
- Must be willing to participate in pre‑employment and periodic drug screening.
- Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
- Exposure to dust.
- Noise level within OSHA regulations.
- Air quality below OR‑OSHA limits.
- Weekend nights (3 × 12) – Friday through Sunday with $2.50 shift premium.
- Additional or alternate shift training may be required.
