Immediate Openings for Injection Molding Technicians - Aerospace Parts Manufacturing
We are looking for injection molding technicians to join a world‑class supplier of titanium castings and components for the aerospace industry. This role requires precision, quality focus, and the ability to work in a climate‑controlled environment.
Responsibilities- Perform daily checks, including cleaning dies, verifying temperature and pressure gauges of the wax press machine, confirming wax levels in the press machine and melting pots, and ensuring there are no hydraulic leaks.
- Retrieve aluminum dies from the storage area.
- Consistently produce wax molds that meet engineering specifications for quality while maintaining quantity requirements.
- Recognize defects in wax patterns and identify their causes.
- Must understand and follow work instructions provided in English.
- Regular, reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist level occasionally, and up to 15 pounds frequently, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Effective team player with the ability to maintain concentration in an active environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent GED required; candidates without a diploma but with relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum age 18 years old.
- Willingness to undergo a pre‑employment background check and drug screen.
- Exposure to fumes from melting wax.
- Working near moving mechanical parts for extended periods.
- Twisting and turning of wrist and forearm for extended periods.
- Use of hands to operate controls of mold presses.
- Job performed under reasonably good working conditions; exposure to the above elements is generally not disagreeable.
- Proper personal protective equipment required.
- Weekend Day Shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday): 3x12 hours with a $1.25/hr shift differential.
- Overtime offered based on business needs.
