 Griffin Chem Solutions is seeking a dependable and motivated Packager / Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team in Albany, Oregon. This is a flexible, hands-on position that supports both our packaging operations and our shipping and receiving department.
 This is a Full-Time, Monday
-Friday position. Occasional overtime may be required.

 The person in this role must be comfortable moving between work areas based on daily production and business needs. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, organized, able to follow written procedures, and willing to help wherever needed to keep products packaged accurately and orders moving efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

 Packaging

 Package and label products according to company procedures, customer requirements, and production documentation.
 Fill, seal, inspect, and prepare containers for shipment.
 Verify product names, lot numbers, quantities, labels, and packaging materials for accuracy.
 Complete production travelers, batch records, checklists, and other required documentation clearly and accurately.
 Inspect finished packages for leaks, damage, incorrect labels, or other quality concerns.
 Maintain a clean, safe, and organized packaging area.
 Follow all safety procedures when working around chemicals, equipment, and packaging materials.
 Shipping and Receiving

 Prepare customer orders for shipment by picking, staging, wrapping, labeling, and securing products.
 Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
 Receive materials and verify quantities and condition against packing slips or purchase orders.
 Report damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments to the appropriate supervisor.
 Complete shipping and receiving paperwork accurately.
 Organize inventory and place received materials in designated storage locations.
 Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
 Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment after completing required training.
 Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse and shipping area.
 Qualifications

 High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
 Previous experience in packaging, manufacturing, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, or a related environment is preferred.
 Ability to read and follow written work instructions, safety procedures, labels, and production documentation.
 Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
 Dependable attendance and punctuality.
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 Willingness to move between packaging and shipping/receiving duties as business needs change.
 Basic math and computer skills.
 Forklift experience is preferred, but training may be provided.
 Experience working around chemicals or regulated materials is helpful but not required.

Physical Requirements

 Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
 Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks.
 Ability to safely lift and carry up to 60 pounds regularly.
 Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, protective footwear, and other equipment as assigned.
 Ability to work in a warehouse and production environment where temperatures, noise levels, and working conditions may vary.
