PCT - Pacific Cast Technologies, a leader in high integrity aluminum investment castings for aerospace and industrial markets, is seeking a Manufacturing Shift Manager in Salem, OR. In this role, you will lead production teams on an assigned shift to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. You will coordinate staffing, schedules, and workflow across molding, casting, and finishing operations, ensuring adherence to standard work and process controls.

The Shift Manager drives continuous improvement, coaches leads and operators, tracks key performance metrics, resolves production issues in real time, and partners with maintenance, quality, and engineering to maintain reliable, efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise production staff on assigned manufacturing shift
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and plant policies
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing and resources to meet targets
  • Maintain quality standards and coordinate with Quality for inspections and corrective actions
  • Track and report key performance indicators for safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Drive continuous improvement, 5
  • S, and lean initiatives on the shift
  • Coordinate with Maintenance to minimize downtime and support preventive maintenance
  • Train, coach, and develop operators and lead personnel
  • Resolve production issues in real time and escalate when needed
  • Ensure accurate documentation, shift handoffs, and compliance with work instructions
