Parts Mover

PCT - Pacific Cast Technologies is seeking a Parts Mover to support our precision aluminum casting operations in Salem, OR. This role is responsible for safely moving cast parts and materials between workstations, storage areas, and shipping/receiving using carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts. The Parts Mover will verify part identification, quantities, and routing paperwork, assist with staging orders for production, and maintain organized, clearly labeled work areas.

The position requires strict adherence to safety and quality procedures, accurate recordkeeping, and effective communication with production, quality, and logistics teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Move cast parts and materials safely between workstations, storage, and shipping/receiving areas
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts; assist with forklift moves as authorized
• Verify part identification, quantities, and routing paperwork against work orders or travelers
• Stage parts and materials for production and shipping according to schedules and priorities
• Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled storage and staging areas
• Follow all safety, quality, and 5
• S procedures in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Communicate effectively with production, quality, and logistics to resolve material flow issues
• Record movements and inventory transactions accurately in logs or systems as required
