Entry Level Aerospace Manufacturing

Selmet is hiring for Entry Level Aerospace Manufacturing roles to support production of precision titanium castings in our Springfield, OR facility. In this hands-on position, you'll operate and monitor manufacturing and finishing equipment, follow detailed work instructions, and perform basic measurements and visual inspections to ensure aerospace-quality standards. You'll work in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment, handling materials, documenting production data, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production and finishing equipment for titanium castings
• Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and quality standards
• Perform basic measurements and visual inspections to verify part conformity
• Handle, stage, and move materials and parts safely throughout the facility
• Document production data and quality checks accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with OSHA and company rules
• Collaborate with leads, quality, and maintenance to resolve production issues
• Participate in training and continuous improvement activities to build skills
